Buzz, do you have the bolt that holds the steering arm on the steering box? I think I can get one from Techfast if needs be but rather have the original. Cheers

I'm sure I have mate. I've just moved everything from 4 lanes to helston so I'll have a look see. Also got the carpet from under the bonnet here and some heater box flexi's.

Sorry mate I haven't. I took virtually everything out of the shed at the weekend. Absolutely no idea where it is because I know I certainly didn't throw it out!

Ok, no worries, but if you do come across it I'm considering retrimming but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to do the front seats!!

Body is off the pan. Lower door hinge replaced, heater channel closing panels to be fitted when body is on its side. Few rust holes in other places to be sorted. Need a seal for the sunroof. After that the body just needs prepping then paint. Doors need some work on the internals, winders, glass etc. Bonnet and boot lid just need prepping and painting. Acquired a wing to replace the missing one that only needs a little attention then they just need rubbing down, prepping and painting. Floor pan needs rubbing down then paint. Putting some new seals on the rear wheel bearings and replacing some bolts and rusty torsion bar covers. New rear shoes just need fitting. The front has a disc upgrade and new shocks to go on when I get my ass in gear and collect them. 4 new ball joints fitted and one track rod end that only needed replacing because I had to cut the old one off to remove the beam, gutted. I've removed the adjuster from the beam and welded it half way between low and stock. Steering box has had a good clean out and new grease/oil. Spent a little more than expected but only because I've stripped it so far that it would be silly not to do some of the jobs while I have the chance. Once its back together it will only have a basic interior, seats and belts, until after the MOT and then we will spend some time getting it nice inside.
There are a few body work issues I'm going to ignore for the time being as they are more cosmetic than structural and I can do them in the future.
All in all it just needs time, as expected, just a bit more time than we hoped.
